How Orbitwire works

Orbitwire puts the launch schedule and the space news on one page. Every upcoming orbital launch worldwide has its own page with a live countdown, and the news is grouped so that one launch, landing or discovery is one story — with every outlet covering it listed underneath.

Launch dates move constantly. Times marked NET mean “no earlier than”; the schedule refreshes through the day. Launch data comes from Launch Library 2 by The Space Devs.

Coverage

The bar next to every story shows how many different outlets reported it. The list on each story page shows who broke it first, and links go straight to the original reporting.

Agencies, companies and programmes

Stories are tagged with the agencies, companies and programmes they mention, so SpaceX, NASA, Starship, Artemis and the rest each have a running page with their news and next launches.
